On Tuesday August 12, 2014 Lawrence Public Schools graduated 84 students as part of its Summer Graduation. The event took place at the High School Performing Arts Center, Lawrence. Presenting the graduates of Class of 2014, were Head Master Michael A. Fiato and Superintendent Jeffrey C. Riley. What makes this graduation so special is that some of the students had dropped out of high school and were convinced to come back and continue their education. Many of them will continue now on to college. After the event, some of the students, surrounded by family and friends posed for Rumbo’s camera.
