This is the time to give

Before, the Christmas season began one day after Thanksgiving, and the parade that day in New York City, hosted by Macy’s, was the signal.

It’s not like that anymore. Long before that date, some radio stations begin playing Christmas carols and department stores begin offering big discounts to those arriving first, motivating buyers.

All this, coordinated with a slight improvement in the economy, has filled the department stores and some even speak of large sales.

It is not that we are against this; we just want to point out that we should not forget those who are most in need on our list. There are families that this year will not have a Christmas dinner or a toy to offer their children, unless we give generously.

Neighbors in Need, Food For The World, Lazarus House, Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, are some of the organizations that are waiting for our contribution. Be generous with them.
