El patriotismo dominicano se desbordó cuando la declamadora Mary Rivas recitó el poema “Arriba el Pabellón” del poeta dominicano Gastón Fernando Deligne, durante la ceremonia del izamiento de la bandera el pasado sábado 25 frente al ayuntamiento de Lawrence. A la extrema derecha aparece Ramón Brito, más conocido como El Negro Brito sosteniendo la bandera dominicana. To the far right appears Ramon Brito, known as Negro Brito holding the Dominican flag.
