As the Department of Water has the ability to produce much more potable water than the city needs , and whose value they say skilled in the art , is similar or superior to that possessed by the bottled water that is sold in supermarkets and other commercial establishments , the nuncio has DiMarca raising the possibility that the city of Lawrence, through a broker or directly, bottle it and sell the surplus water that may occur is explored .
Despite not appearing in the list of projects suggested by the mayor’s transition team , is a very interesting and valuable proposition that, if found feasible , after a thorough and objective analysis – implementation priority should be declared because it could yield substantial benefits for city and incidentally help address two of the main problems that affect : the high rate of unemployment and lack of income sources .
Mayor Rivera , being recently addressed in the CrossOver radio program , leading Ms. Dalia Diaz and architect of the proposal itself, former Councilman DiMarca , has been very willing to consider the idea. Do you really think the idea is good or not? Do we need economic resources , or not? Do we want to create other sources of income to “balance ” the budget without raising taxes or making cuts in staff or not?
If the answer to the above questions is yes , it is difficult to explain how this proposal was left out of the list of projects for the city peremptory developed by the transition team , or as the mayor and city council – which is also part city - government have not yet had the time to get to know more afond and analyze it.
I hope I may be understanding , I’m not discrediting the trip yesterday , nor is the intention of this article to “attack ” to right now run the government of the city that have my full support , I am saying that the above travel, as well as other actions to implement or rejection of the proposal in question had to be done before, and before you do , or do anything else , right … the logical … what is customary is to be heard correctly and formally proposed , and there is no one better to expose the same promoter .
