Linette Perez, a friend of the family of Lee Manuel Viloria-Paulino, began the vigil organized to remember the young man who was found dead, decapitated, on December 1, 2016 and seized the opportunity to seek justice from the authorities.
Pérez thanked Tania Peralta, also known as La Bakanita, for organizing the event.
Victor Parra, of the Spanish Free Methodist Church, the Paulino family’s pastor as well as Pastor Victor Jarvis of the Ebenezer Christian Church, led in prayer to the approximately 100 people present, mostly dressed in T-shirts showing the effigy of Lee Manuel and asked for answers and justice for young Lee and his family.
