Little Sunshine Daycare opens in South Lawrence
By Dalia Díaz
There is a new daycare center ready to accept children offering the best care for children and parents.
Little Sunshine Daycare Center is a modern facility located at Stadium Plaza, 160 Winthrop Ave. (Rt. 114) Unit 2A in Lawrence. They have an advantage with ample parking and are easily accessible from Lawrence and North Andover.
Inside, you will find a sunny welcoming area and four toddler spacious rooms, and two preschool classrooms that will delight the little ones as much as their parents.
The Executive Director Sol Rosario said that she waited over twenty-five years working with children to open a place like this. “We are licensed for 75 children and hope to reach that number by the end of the year,” she said.
Geraldo Pagán, a well-known mental health counselor in this area is the CEO. He worked for over two years putting this idea into place and he’s very pleased with the results.
“I provide services to those seeking to heal their emotional, psychological, and spiritual wounds,” Pagán said. “Having a daycare center is the most important type of work I can do because that is where all begins: in childhood. I can contribute to creating well-adjusted citizens for the future.”
Geraldo and Sol are bilingual and bicultural which makes it so easy for families, as well.
Little Sunshine Daycare Center accepts government vouchers and if you have any questions, feel free to stop by and speak to Sol. If you want to make an appointment for a tour, call her at (978) 258-2675.
Little Sunshine Day Care CEO Geraldo Pagán and Executive Director Sol Rosario will be happy to give anyone a tour of the center.
