A group of pastors and members of different Christian Churches of Lawrence gathered in Appleton Street between City Hall and the Superior Court of Lawrence, on the afternoon of Saturday, January 11, 2020, to pray for Puerto Rico. At the beginning of the activity, they added Australia to their prayer which, like Puerto Rico, is in dire need.
It all began while “We were studying the Bible, my sisters, Anita Caraballo, Carmen Valentín Caraballo and me, when we got the idea,” said Frankie Caraballo.
Frankie spoke with several pastors and they all lent their support and his sister Anita who is a pastor, organized the activity.
In addition to Ángel González, Pastors Cecilio Pérez and Milagros Grullón were also present.
