State Representative Frank A. Moran (D—Lawrence, Andover, Methuen) welcomed the Greater Lawrence Technical School Girls Soccer team to the State House to honor them before the House of Representatives for their 2019 CAC League Championship victory.
“This group of energetic and intelligent young people thoroughly impressed me with their athletic talent and genuine interest in public service,” said Representative Frank Moran. “It was a pleasure to welcome them, along with Athletic Director Michael Nelson and Coach Kelsey Cartwright, to the House Chamber to celebrate their outstanding accomplishments.”
The Greater Lawrence Technical School Girls were given a standing ovation by the House of Representatives during its formal session on Wednesday, February 6. Representative Moran was joined by his colleagues in the Andover-Lawrence Delegation to speak with them about the importance of being civically engaged and active members of their community.
