Last Saturday, May 11, Semana Hispana held a Resource Fair for children with special needs at Everett Mills, located at #15 Union Street, in Lawrence.
The fair was aimed at providing information, education and useful tools for parents and caregivers who love and provide services to Special Children with Special Needs.
Among the agencies present were GLCAC Head Start, Child Development and Education, The Professional Center for Child Development, Lawrence Public School Special Education, Federation for Children with Special Needs, Stand Up for Children and the MRC-Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission.
In addition, as a special guest, was Melissa Contreras, the poster girl who will represent Hispanic Week in all activities as “Our Special Heart”.
