2019 is the Year of the Pig according to Chinese Zodiac, and a big celebration was held by a group of Chinese and Vietnamese at The Senior Center on Saturday, February 9, 2019, in what has become a tradition.
This year we had the popular Lion Dance performance by the Lumbini Lion Dance Team from the Buddhist Temple located at 79 Margin St., here in Lawrence.
This was a wonderful way to highlight and celebrate the cultural diversity that has made Lawrence such a great place to live and work.
