Greater Lawrence Family Health Center celebrated the grand opening of its Methuen Family Health Center facility on Wednesday, May 31st with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new site, located at the Ranger Plaza in Methuen (147 Pelham Street), has 17 exam rooms and is accepting new patients now. The Health Center also located a Family Pharmacy at this site, so patients can obtain their medications right away. Lawrence General Hospital, in collaboration with GLFHC, will locate a laboratory and radiology suite at this site, truly creating a comprehensive medical center for patients. The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured GLFHC Board Chair Charlie Zanazzi, President & CEO John M. Silva, Senior VP of External Relations Rich Napolitano, Methuen Mayor Steve Zanni, State Representative Linda Dean Campbell, and State Senator Barbara L’Italien. Following the ceremony, Methuen Family Health Center leadership gave tours of the new clinic site and pharmacy.
