Roger Twomey held his 10th annual breakfast in honor of all his fellow veterans last Sunday, November 3rd.
Mr. Twomey honorably served in the United States Air Force for 4 years during the Korean War. More than to 200 people, not just veterans, attended this year’s event held at the Firefighters’ Relief’s In, in Lawrence.
After serving the city for a total of 14 years, Mr. Twomey, who chaired the Licensing Board from 2000 until 2006 and has served on the council since 2008, finally retired in 2015 but has not forget the veterans.
