Do your duty. Vote November 4th!

On November 4th, the state election ballots will be carrying the names of the candidates that survived the Primary Election of September 9, 2014.

Locally, we will be electing one Representative in Congress, one State Senator and 3 state representatives, one for each of the three districts.

Third District, You must choose between Nicola S. Tsongas, Lowell, Democratic VS Roseann L. Ehrhard Wofford, Haverhill, Republican.

Fourteenth Essex District, Diana DiZoglio, Methuen, Democratic VS Rosemary Connelly Smedile, North Andover, Republican.

Sixteenth Essex District, Marcos A. Devers, Lawrence, Democratic; Roger A. Twomey, Lawrence, Republican and William Lantigua, Lawrence, Non-Party Unenrolled Candidate.

Seventeenth Essex District, Frank A. Moran, Lawrence, Democratic.

Register of Probate, Essex County, Pamela Casey O’Brien, Saugus, Democratic VS Michael E. Morales, Andover, Republican

We might sound repetitive. As in previous elections, we only give you the candidates’ names; the rest is your decision. It’s been a long campaign and candidates have been very eloquent about their platforms.

By now, we hope your mind is made up. Even if it is not, you most go out and vote. It’s your duty. It’s not only your civic obligation but a privilege!
