Lawrence YMCA Preschool Program

At the Lawrence YMCA, the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success. At the Y, children learn how to be their best selves.

The Lawrence YMCA Preschool Program serves children ages 15 months to 2.9 years old in a nurturing environment that offers a safe place to learn, develop healthy relationships, and build self-reliance.

Through a combination of teacher-led and free choice activities, your child will have the opportunity to explore, create, and imagine through art, literacy, language, math, science, and play. Our passionate, caring teachers and age-appropriate curriculum aim to help each child reach his or her full potential.

The Lawrence YMCA preschool rooms on the second floor were recently renovated, offering a warm, inviting preschool space that is full of light. Preschool classrooms are designed for learning and connected to a large common space, giving teachers the freedom to collaborate and offer special programs.
